The music-makers for the milllennium are at it again! The Superior Band, headed by C.J. and Paul Kearney,has launched it's second CD with two earth-shattering singles....Ready to Love You (Baby Come Back) and Whole Lotta Woman. Both recordings were written, arranged, and produced by the two brothers whose musical career stretches four decades. On each single, you'll hear the melodious female vocals of Audrey Haller, backgrounds by Rachel, guitar sounds of Scott Raschke, bass guitar sounds of C.J., drum sounds of Michael Garza, and the masterful sounds on the keyboards of Paul Kearney.
The Superior Band has been known for its great musical ability for many years. Paul played keyboard and C.J. played bass guitar for Johnny Copeland in the 1970's and early 1980's. The band has been opening acts for "Dynamic Greats" such as B.B.King, Bobby Bland, Buddy Ace, Albert King, Betty Wright, Bill Withers, Floyd Taylor (son of Johnny Taylor), and Frankie Beverly & Maze, just to name a few.
